      USB Flash Drive

Why is it so frustrating when you need to save files to a disc and you end up with loads scattered across your desk? There is one way to solve this problem by purchasing a USB Flash Drive or you may know it as a memory stick or USB Memory pen.

What is a USB Flash Drive you may ask? Well the memory stick is a portable plug and play lightweight USB Memory pen small enough to hold on your key ring. The USB Flash drive can be used instead of DVDs or Floppy discs to store data.

All you need to do is attach the memory stick to the USB port and the PC will automatically recognize the USB Memory pen assigning it a drive letter, once you have located your USB Flash drive you can start to transfer files and data to the memory stick without any problems. When all the data is transferred to the USB Memory Pen you can take it out from the USB port.

      Memory Stick

The difference between most removable drives and USB Flash drive is that it does not need to be rebooted every time it is attached the Memory Stick also does not require any type of power supply.

Some of the USB Memory Pen manufacturers offer password protection on the USB Flash drive or drives that allow the Memory Stick to work on older PC's that do not have USB Memory Pen ports.
